Cookie Policy

The following cookie policy is protected by copyrights attributable to IAB Polska.

Cookie files (so called “cookies”) constitute information data, in particular text files, which are stored on the Service User’s device and enable use of the Service’s websites. Cookies usually contain the name of the website of their origin, their storage time on the user’s device and a unique number.

The entity which stores cookie files on the Service User’s device and later accesses them is the Operator of the Service:

Cookie files are used for the following purpose:

a) adapt the content of the Service’s websites to the User’s preferences and optimize the utility of the websites; in particular these files enable to recognize the Service User’s device and properly display the website, adjusted to the device’s individual requirements;

b) create statistics which allow to comprehend how Service Users utilize the websites, which enables to make improvements in the websites’ structure and content;

c) maintain the Service User’s session (after logging in), thanks to which the User is not required to enter their login and password on every sub-page of the Service;

Two primary types of cookie files are utilized within the Service: “session cookies” and “persistent cookies”. “Session cookies” are temporary files which are stored on the User’s device until logging out, leaving the website or disabling the software (Internet browser). “Persistent cookies” are stored on the User’s device for a time specified in the cookie file parameters or until their removal by the User.

The following kinds of cookie files are utilized within the Service:

a) “essential” cookie files which enable the use of services available within the Service, e.g. authentication cookie files used for services which require User authentication within the Service;

b) cookie files used to ensure security, e.g. utilized to detect abuse in the area of authentication within the Service;

c) “efficiency” cookie files, which enable collection of information on how the Service’s websites are being utilized;

d) “functional” cookie files, which make it possible to “remember” settings and User interface personalization chosen by the User, e.g. in terms of selected language or region in which the User resides, font size, website appearance, etc.;

e) “advertising” cookie files, which enable delivery of advertising content to Users which is better adapted to their interests’

In many cases software used to browse Internet sites (Internet browsers) by default enable storage of cookie files on the User’s device. Service Users may at any time make changes to settings related to cookie files. Such settings may be changed, in particular, in such a way as to block automatic support for cookie files in the Internet browser’s settings or to each time inform of their storage on the Service User’s device. Detailed information regarding the possibilities and methods of supporting cookie files is available in the software (Internet browser) settings.

The Service Operator informs that restricting the use of cookie files may influence certain functionalities available on the Service’s websites.

Cookie files stored on the Service User’s device may also be utilized by advertisers and partners cooperating with the Service Operator.
